SaferGlobe to provide the European Parliament with foreign policy expertise on European security and defence issues, as part of a multiple framework contract

SaferGlobe has been selected as the only Finnish actor in the European Parliament’s DG-EXPO (Directorate-General for External Policies of the Union) framework agreement, which extends until the end of 2028.

SaferGlobe will respond, as needed, to the European Parliament’s expert requests related to security and defence issues and support other projects according to research needs. The ‘Security & Defence’ section of the framework agreement includes other European security sector experts, such as the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), and the Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique (FRS). SaferGlobe is part of a consortium of eight think tanks led by FRS, ranking third in the distribution of tasks in the framework arrangement capped at €700,000 .
